My background
Hey Woman, I am Akilia Fortier, founder of Woman Witness. I am a Mom of 5 boys, a wife, a serial entrepreneur, and an international best-selling author. Since self-publishing 14 books and becoming an award-winning author, I have been inspired to extend an olive branch to other women who have a story to tell just like you. I strongly believe that everyone has a truth to share. Woman Witness was established to provide women from various backgrounds a platform to write and walk with confidence in their truth. We encourage women to live a life defined by the fruit that they bear and not their appearance. If you are determined to defy the odds, stereotypes, limitations and blaze a trail for young women who dare go beyond the status quo— woman you've found the right platform to witness!
My writing roots
I am a Woman that has been appointed Witness and Coach. I wrote my first two books with the vision in mind to teach children about their self boundaries and the value and importance of respecting their personal space as well as the individual space of others. My focus behind the childrens stories that I continued with was to give children identity, so that they will see themselves in the diversity of the stories that I wrote.

My style
Over the years I progressed into writing non fiction, self help and self identity in Christ books that would give men and women another perspective on life. I was able to overcome fear, anxiety, childhood trauma, and become the author and publisher of my own story.
The latest Best Selling book I wrote called Woman Witness, which is a non fiction, self help book, sparked an even stronger desire inside of me to help men, women and children alike, seek a higher purpose, a more profound calling. I discovered my identity and redefined myself and I want to help you do the same, by writing a story of your own.
