About Woman Witness
Are you ready to write through barries and challenge Societal Norms?
Woman Witness was inspired from the "The Samaritan Woman" which is a biblical story found in the Gospel of John. It recounts the encounter between Jesus and a Samaritan woman at a well in the town of Sychar.
Your Encounters must be heard.
The encounter between Jesus and the Samaritan woman is significant because it breaks numerous social and cultural norms. Do you have a story to share that would challenge today's culture to reconsider what is deemed normal?
What do you stand for?
The Samaritan woman is seen as an outcast within her own community, as demonstrated by her coming to the well at a different time than the other women. Jesus disregards these societal boundaries and treats the Samaritan woman with respect and kindness, emphasizing his message of inclusivity and love for all people.
